This game has basic and expert modes that control the level of vocabulary. Basic is tooooo basic; after a few dozen levels, the big (goal) words start to repeat. You would think that expert mode would use something akin to the Scrabble dictionary, but it doesnt. It pulls in abbreviations and acronyms, proper nouns, and foreign words that are not recognized in English. However, the choices arent consistent. If you have "thee" and "thine", you should allow "thou." If you have "chai" and "wat", you should allow "pho." And so on. The inconsistent treatment of abbreviations and foreign words basically means that the set of allowable words is unknowable, so at times you just have to test random strings of letters.

This is my new obsession! I was stuck on AnaTwist but this game has a better dictionary. One request: Why not add languages other than English? Given a reference dictionary, any Western language could be loaded. I would love to be able to use this app to improve my French vocabulary!

Love this game. So addictive. Perfect for word nerds like myself. Almost no bugs whatsoever. There are a few repeat words, but not enough to be annoying. Pretty design. Easy to start and stop games. Love.

...my very fav game. Would spend hours playing. Not any more. Too many foreign words or words that even the games dictionary does not have a definition. Also, am not too crazy about Med evil words that arent in regular dictionarys. Get your stuff together. Work on an update.

This is a decent game to pass the time.

I play this game every night before I go to sleep. Its nice and relaxing, even on the timed part. Its becoming more difficult to play because it keeps crashing in the middle of a level. Please fix this!

Fun game, but, come on people: Youve got one and only one underlying job to do and thats to have a proper underlying dictionary! How is HUN not a word? How is ULNA not a word? Its a bone in your arm -- even you have one, I promise.

wish they would update it with the option of hints, in addition to the option of filling in words if you have enough points. hints are more fun that word completions :(

This is probably there oldest app on my phone. I play it every day.

My favorite word game. Move or tap the letters - very intuitive. Alphabetical list helps find missing words. My go-to game for short or long breaks. Programmers have been responsive to requests or glitches (which sometimes occur after iOS updates). I love this game.

It takes some brains but not a lot. Helps me zone out. Love it.

Most anagram apps are missing many ordinary words. Jumbline is the opposite - it has them all, including lots of crazy words - but theyre real words, and that makes it fun.

Addictive. I like word games and this is one of the best.

There are enough tricky long words to make this challenging over and over. Each game is short enough that you can get one in on a break. Good way to keep your memory active.

Ive been playing this game daily for a couple of years and it just doesnt get old or boring to me. It could use an update for words that I find in the dictionary, but dont register when I spell them here.

I am almost up to level 5000 in the untimed seven letter game. I play it all day long on breaks and just because Im addicted. Ive suggested obvious words to add and I dont think they have been responded to so I have stopped doing that.

I like word games and this is a favorite! Only problem is I select 7 letter words in settings but it only displays 6 letters max. Thats why I gave 4 stars.
